Even independent films that got rave reviews (Saints and Soldiers, for example) have just turned my stomach, I can't even finish them. But something about this one just impressed me. Maybe the music? We own the soundtrack, and as good a Kris was, Glen Hansard's voice is just unbeatable. I have hated every independent film I have ever seen except this one.
