My Left Shoe has a Curse

Thursday, January 31st, 2008

My shoe, untiedHere at work, I sit in a desk. I don’t get up and move around all that much; I’m mostly stationary. Yet, somehow, by some magical and mysterious way, my left shoe always comes untied. It probably happened 2 or 3 times here at work yesterday, and I left at about 3. Between then and coming back to work today, with all the walking and driving and taking shoes off/on (I slip them on) it never came untied. Now here it is, 12:30, I’m at work, and magically it’s untied now. I don’t understand this. Someone explain this to me!

UPDATE: It’s now 3:22 and… it’s untied again. I haven’t left the building, I’ve walked to Troys desk maybe 3 times… help me!!!

The upcomingSo I was having a creativity slump here at work on a design for a client, so I decided to spend a minute and make something new for me. I’m kind of excited, although the picture frame is going to be pretty tricky to make work. I still need to design out the other pages of the site as well. Anyways… I’m excited! So, for those of you that read this, gimme a comment and let me know what you think!

Fat is Healthy?

Fat is HealthyI had a box of Indian Food for lunch today, and that was inside the packaging. Kinda fun. My boss Will had a great laugh over it.

So, I have my iPhone now, and I completely love it. It’s the most fantastic little device I’ve ever owned, I use it all the time. I use the iPod in it more than my old iPod. So… my good and faithful 4GB Nano went up on eBay a few days ago and just ended a few minutes ago. To tell you the truth, I was a little bit worried about it. For pretty much the whole time it was sitting really low, at about $25. I also had an offer from Craigslist for $60, and that was looking mighty tempting, especially considering that $25 eBay was offering… Then the fun began.

How the eBay Bidding was WonWith one hour to go, the price jumped to $43, where it sat for 45 minutes. From there, it just kept climbing, and it was quite enjoyable to hit refresh and watch the price climb. In the end, 3 or 4 people battled it out with the winner coming in with 2 seconds to go and clinching the final price of $79.80. I’ll take that to the bank!

So, that’s my fun for the day! Catch ya later!
