Comments are back!
Well, looking back at my past designs and themes for my blog, I don’t think I’ve had comments for about a year now. Oops. Thanks to Miles for letting me know. So, to remedy this, I redesigned and rebuilt unculturedswine, again. Only this time when I reskinned the blog, I worked from the original template instead of my previous one, and I was able to maintain the comments. So, if you read something interesting, comment away!
And yes, as you can tell (for now, until it changes again!) there is a new design to the website. Yes, I used argyle. I like it! I gave some sneak peeks to some friends and they all commented on the background pattern. But, it’s my website and I’ll argyle if I want to! Deal with it! :)
August is drawing to a close, and it has been a very busy month. Sadly, today I had to pass up on a chance for yet another trip and skip out on going to San Francisco with Miles, Beth and Chelsea to go visit their brother Ryan (and his wife Tamara. Hi Tamara!). I was going to go, then not go, then go, then not go… way too indecisive. It came down to too many things going on this weekend and being responsible. Responsible won. Grrr! I hate it when I lose! I would really love my own picture of the Golden Gate Bridge, and seeing the Palmers would have been a good bonus. Okay, the Palmers would have been cool and the bridge would have been the bonus.
In political news, McCain picked his VP today and while I was pretty disappointed he didn’t go with Romney, I think he hit a pretty solid home run with Palin. She’s a true, straight line conservative that lines up pretty darn good with me. At first I was pretty confused cause I had no idea who she was, or what kind of pull an Alaska pick would have; seemed pretty dumb at first. But thankfully that impression changed.
I also got to talk to my long lost friend Joanna today on Facebook, she’s been gone on a mission for the usual 18 months. Welcome Home Joanna! It was a fun chat, she’s been missed.
