New Brother (In-Law)
Over, it’s finally over. I had a long weekend of weddings and pictures and hot days out in the sun. Starting Wednesday and ending Saturday I attended/shot pictures at 4 different weddings. The two notable ones were my youngest sister Katie’s on Thursday, and my best friend Priscilla’s on Saturday. I am mostly recovered, having spent basically all Sunday morning in bed reading. Yay for church at 12:30!
So yeah, I have a new brother. He’s pretty darn cool. Sadly, he’s still a little behind on his Mario Kart Wii skills, but he’s coming around. I do have the advantage as I have one here at the house to play at my leisure. Today we watched a VHS copy of him on the Price is Right from about 3 years ago where he actually won the entire show. Sadly, he really didn’t win anything. In order to take home the prices, you need to pay CA tax on the MSRP for everything you won before you could take it home. So, at a $30,000 prize payday, that can really ad up so he just left it all and was satisfied with a good time.
But in all honesty, he’s a pretty impressive guy. And he better be, cause my sister is one amazing girl. He’s going to Med School in Hershey, PA and this past April started up a now yearly ‘Kiss Hershey Back’ day, where he very successfully organized loads of volunteers etc to clean up the city.
