Get me back to the norm, I'm kinda tired!
Wow, I’ve been gone. I slept at my provo house last night for the first time since Dec 19. Sadly, it was a miserable sleep too, no one turned down the heater and my small room turned into quite the oven, so I was mostly conscious it seemed all night long. I’m totally exhausted this morning.
So, catch up. The bowl game in Vegas was a LOT of fun, it was great to have a big guys weekend. The game was kinda boring, but the end was fantastic. I went down on the field after, it was fun!

I got home from Vegas Sunday afternoon, then spent 2 days at home for Christmas Eve and Christmas before running off to Houston for the warm weather, and the wedding. On my connecting flight from Houston to Dallas I sat next to a brother and sister that I did a great job of not talking to the whole flight. However, when I had to take off my headphones for the landing I overheard the girl mention something about BYU, so we got to talking and found out she lives like maybe a mile from me. Very funny.
Houston and the wedding was nice. Thursday I spent about 14 hours doing the whole wedding thing, didn’t make it back to the Carrell’s and into bed until 1am…. the reception was over 5 hours long! SO much dancing, it about killed me!

It was a lot of fun spending time with Priscilla’s family again, and they did a terrific job of not making me feel like an intruder, even though I felt it. Her brother came home from his Mission the same day as the wedding, and all her family was there. I even spent Christmas Day with them, kind of. Her parents and sister went to pick up her brother, so they didn’t have Christmas until the 28th. It was a lot of fun. While I was down there we went to the Houston Space Center, I got to see the actual Mission Control, and some other cool things. Also saw the Saturn V rocket that sent the men to the moon, and that thing was HUGE, over 300ft long laid down on the ground. The engine boosters were GIGANTIC. Pictures of that coming soon.
And that brings me home now, New Years was a nice celebration with the married folks, it was good. Now I’m back to work after a 2 week break and I’ve got quite a bit to get caught up on… so I’m off to it!
